Hung-Chia Yang

Hung-Chia Yang is an energy policy researcher with over a decade of experience analyzing diverse economic issues related to energy conservation standards for the U.S. Department of Energy. She performs qualitative and quantitative analysis to assist efficiency standard rulemaking, specializing in markup analysis, life cycle cost analysis, future price trend analysis, survey analysis, and consumer choice modeling. In addition, Hung-Chia has worked on projects studying the innovation process of renewable energy resources, evaluating the cost-effectiveness of Zero Net Energy homes in California, investigating the Demand Response decision-making process in commercial buildings, analyzing people's transportation behavioral patterns and their implications in car ownership, and identifying critical pathways for improving behavioral realism in existing energy system models.
