Bio
Chun Chun Ni is a Senior Scientific Engineering Associate for the Energy Efficiency Standards Department at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Chun Chun's current projects focus on energy efficiency standards rulemaking for home appliances including dishwasher, clothes dryer, room air conditioner, portable air conditioner, dehumidifier, and cooking products.
Prior to joining Berkeley Lab in 2010, she worked for the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ), a think tank that focuses on world energy supply and demand analysis. As a researcher there, Chun Chun worked principally on government projects such as the Sino-Japanese Energy Efficiency Project. She was an expert on China's energy supply upstream and played a key role in research projects on China's coal, natural gas, and electricity markets.
