Alastair Robinson
Alastair is an energy and environment professional with nearly two decades of technical and project management experience in consultancy, research and not for profit environments. He received a BSc in Geology from Liverpool University and an MSc in Technology and Innovation Studies from the University of Sussex’s Science Policy Research Unit. His experience in the UK was in the development of concept, and detailed designs for community and district-scale mechanical thermal energy systems. At LBNL, Alastair’s projects have included technology field demonstration and deployment in commercial buildings, research into the potential for district energy in the U.S., and technology testing and demonstration of integrated systems in LBNL's FLEXLAB facility, for deployment in commercial buildings. More recently, his work has focused on demonstration projects in public schools, and the implementation of Building Performance Standards and utility programs for Building Electrification.
