Bio
Hello and welcome to my corner of the Internet.
I manage Communications for the Energy Technologies Area (ETA) at the Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, which is managed by the University of California in a cooperative agreement.
It is my privilege to promote our amazing research, talented scientists and life-changing work devoted to enhancing lives in the U.S. and around the globe, battling the Climate Crisis, and improving the environment and the nation's infrastructure, all based on the foundation of Energy Efficiency -- the scientific field developed by Art Rosenfeld and others. I also working closely with ETA leadership in crafting our message and and creating strategic and innovative academic, industry and governmental partnerships. I coordinate closely with Berkeley Lab's Strategic Communications office, the Department of Energy and UC Berkeley to promote the Lab's vision of "Bringing Science Solutions to the World".
In my position I manage, with the help of my Communications Office team and other stakeholders:
- News releases, publicity and media requests
- Our stable of more than 60 websites, including our flagship site, eta.lbl.gov
- Art and design projects
- Support of our scientists and their media and publication needs
- Social Media
- Major marketing projects, including Media Campaigns, animations, videos and online collateral
I am currently on assignment with the Office of Science. In my absence, please contact Kiran Julin for anything you might need.
