Bio

Dr. Guanzhi Wang is now working as Postdoctoral Scholar in Energy Conversion Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and her reseach interest is water electrolyzer development, including proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis and liquid alkaline water electrolysis. Before join LBNL, Dr. Wang was a doctoral student in Dr. Yang Yang’s group in NanoScience Technology Center, University of Central Florida. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in materials science from Shandong University in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Her previous research mainly focused on the design of advanced nanostructured alloy thin films for electrochemical energy storage and conversion technologies, including metal-air batteries, CO2 reduction electrolyzers and lithium-ion batteries. Until now, She has published nearly 20 academic papers as first and co-author in Adv. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nature Energy, Energy Environ. Sci. and Adv. Energy Mater. etc.
